2012-02-03 (18 photos)  After a hard day at work walking around in my silver sling back pumps all day, my feet are tired and my high heels are dirty. I'm walking along the seaside to relax when a wave suddenly catches me off guard and soaks my shoes. The cool water feels good on my tired feet so I decide to step into the water and fill my shoes.
2012-01-31 (29 photos)  My black leather Ralph Lauren pumps have just about had it. Looks like they've been through one too many unpaved parking lots. The heels dig into the dirt which eventually make the heel tips come off and strip the leather covering off the heels. The rest of the shoes are also badly scuffed and the insides are stained with my toe prints.
2012-01-27 (16 photos)  I go out shopping today in my platform sandals with extremely high heels. When I step out Walgreens, I find that it's pouring rain. I have no choice but to run through the rain and parking lot puddles to get back to my car. By the time I get to my car my feet and shoes are soaking wet. I pump the pedals of my car with my wet shoes.
2012-01-20 (24 photos)  I park my pickup truck and step out, right onto a muddy road. The high heels of my new silver slingbacks immediately sink into the mud. Just a short walk across the road and my slingbacks are covered in mud.
2012-01-17 (19 photos)  I ruin so many pairs of shoes working on an undeveloped island, often showing unfinished properties and visiting construction sites. I just decided to take a few pairs of my most abused shoes out of my closet and show you some pictures of them. All of them have damaged heels ranging from scuffs and scratches to missing heel tips to completely stripped leather. Most pairs are dirty, muddy or badly scuffed.
2012-01-13 (23 photos)  Had I known my job would bring me to a farm today perhaps I would not have chosen white pumps when I got dressed this morning. I spend the day walking around in this red soil which badly stains my pumps, especially when I step into the soft areas which swallow my whole shoe. By the time I'm done, my shoes are filthy, inside and out. I take off my shoes to empty the dirt out of them but the dirty toe prints remain.
2011-11-04 (22 photos from the archives)  Alexis chose her good boots today for a romantic date at a Pismo Beach restaurant. Her brand new Dior leather high heeled dress boots. They were early for their reservation so her date suggested a stroll on the beach so they could take some pictures. Apparently Dior didn't have the beach in mind when they designed their dress boots because the heel tips promptly came off causing the leather heel covering to be pushed up the shaft. Damaged anyway, it wasn't hard for her date to convince her to step closer to the water for some wet boot photos for this website.
2011-11-01 (20 photos from the archives)  Alexis rushed out of the house to the construction site in her elegant outfit and Nine West heels not realizing today she would be filming a Youtube video named "How to Make Cement". By the time she gets back home her dress and heels are filthy, her shoes are badly scuffed and some of the leather covering of her heels is torn. She did get the video done and you can see it on Youtube.
2011-10-25 (22 photos from the archives)  After soaking her boots crossing back over the stream, Alexis heads back through the trail to the main road. By the time she gets back to her car her heels are caked in mud again.
